Types of Claims

General Loss Claim: Serious Injuries (To both adults, minors and unborn)

  • 30% or more of your entire body is disfigured,
  • or loss of mobility or bodily function,
  • mental injury.

Medical Expenses:

  • Claim for past and future medical costs.

Loss of Income:

  • If, because of the Motor Vehicle Accident, you are unable to work,
  • You can also claim from the RAF for loss of present and future income.

Loss of Support:

  • If the motor vehicle accident results in death – then the dependent/s of the deceased can claim for “loss of support”, e.g. spouse/children/other forms of dependents.

Cost of Funeral:

  • If a person dies in a road accident that was at least partly someone else’s fault, the family can claim compensation for the cost of the funeral.
  • Funeral cost claims are limited to the costs of cremation or interment.
